20 titled lots - 30,000 coffee plants yielding 15K-18K pounds per year
Much has been accomplished in the past three years; through better care, we have managed to get the coffee production from 600 pounds of green beans to over 18,000 pounds for 2015. In addition more than 5,000 new coffee plants and 200 fruit trees were planted. Plans are to create a second cash crop of avocadoes, mangos or citrus. The one and one-half miles of interior roads were cleared and 20 homesites were surveyed and registered (titled) for individual ownership. A pond for tilapia was excavated along the stream, now stocked with thousands of fish, and a picnic area created around the pond. A large, flat area of two acres was cleared for growing food for the community and areas has been identified for raising cattle, pigs and chickens. A rough caretaker / picker home is on the property with running water, bathroom and electricity. Six of the twenty building sites, along with a new site for the resident caretaker have been prepared and are ready for construction. There is even talk of the existence of an old gold mind on the farm.
